General Conditions
* The scheme covers accidental damage to new spectacles purchased through the EyeCarePlan.
* The cover lasts 18 months from the date of purchase. (If new lenses are fitted to that frame within the 18 months then cover will continue for the remainder of the original 18 month period).
* In the event of damaged beyond repair the cost of replacement, to the EyeCarePlan member, will be 50% of the special discounted price they paid for their glasses. In the case of repair, the cost will be 50% of the normal price for repair.
* The extent of repair or replacement will be decided by our senior dispensing optician and that decision will be final.
* The lens prescription or powers must be the same as the original pair.
* Lost or stolen glasses are not covered.
* Damage due to wear and tear, neglect or wilful damage is not included.
* Where replacement is necessary the nearest possible replica to the original glasses will be provided.
* Damaged glasses or parts must be returned to us.
* Should an intractable dispute arise we have retained a solicitor and an expert witness whose decision will be final.
